I did not have the greatest experience with Silvercreek repair. But as far as the politeness of the employees and communication when I would reach out, they are fantastic. I am new to the area and wanted to find a mechanic in the area. I decided to try them out as they had high reviews. I had my check engine light on and needed it checked as I had to get the echeck completed (this was in October 2022). They did the test and stated it was my fuel pump. So, they replaced it for $700+. When I picked up the vehicle the light was still on. I was advised after I drive it for a few days that it would turn off. After 5 days, I emailed them that it did not turn off. They asked me to bring in the vehicle again to re-run the diagnostic test. So again, I made arrangements to get my car down there. Apparently, my vehicle has 2 pumps, the fuel pump and fuel sender pump (why they wouldn't know this before repairing the more expensive one first IDK). The issue was the fuel sender had rusted. The part was on backorder. I was told that I would be just charged for only the part since it was their miss the first time. Part was $314. I agreed and told them to order the part. A few weeks went by, and I didn't hear anything, so I reached out to see if the part was in. They replied that the part should be in by November. November passed; December passed no notification of status on the part. I received a text message from them asking for a review. I replied to the text asking about the part. I then got a call saying that their office ordered it, but the warehouse never put in their order for it. Finally, on January 16, 2023, I got a text the part was in and was scheduled to bring in the vehicle for repair. My vehicle was repaired, and check engine light was out. Which I am grateful for. What I wasn't grateful for was the bill was $527. They charged me for the labor which they initially stated there were not going to. I am not a confrontational person, so I paid the bill and went on my way. Although I am upset not only that they charged me the labor that they said they would not, but that it took them 3 months to fix my problem because they didn't follow up on parts until I reach out.

Leigha, Thank you for your review. You are correct about the labor on the second fuel sender module. I have refunded the labor amount to your credit card. I apologize for not remembering the conversation about the labor. As far as what was replaced, both fuel pump modules were causing the check engine light. The fuel pumps are actual modules. The fuel pump part was still working, but both the plastic housings were cracked. due to rust build up on the metal lock ring that holds the modules in the tank.. We replaced the first module after the initial testing that showed the cracked housing. It wasn't until we brought the vehicle back and ran the test again that we noticed the small cracks in the top of the second module. That is when we found that the part was on back order. We did drop the ball on checking to see if the part was in. We rely on the dealer to call us or send the part out to us when it comes in. When you contacted us, we contacted them. They had the part and didn't contact us and let us know it came in. In the future please feel free to let us know when there is a problem. We make every effort to resolve issues with our customers.

Had my car towed here due to a dead battery. My tow truck was very late showing up but Silvercreek auto repair still fit me in and made sure my battery was replaced by end of the day. The woman at the desk was very pleasant and helpful and will be definitively coming back here for future car repairs!!

Thank you Amy for the great review. Robin
